kinda sounds like mass effect.

this is really an awesome song, I love the style of music from mass effect and I think this really out did that, so good job!

EvilRaccoon responds:

Wow, thats really complimentary of you. Mass effect was an amazing score it's astonishing to be even compared to it. Glad you enjoyed this! Thanks for the comment/score!

sounds like a space game song!

from 00:50 to 3:00 it's pretty depressing, but I liked it a lot, perfect ambiance for a horror sci-fi in space. Good job and keep at it!

FatKidWitAJetPak responds:

Yeah, this does give off a pretty depressing feel, but treat it as a break from your normal feelings rather than a "bad" feeling. It can also be described as "euphoria" rather. I think it would be awesome for a sci-fisih film :D

FIRST! haha

nice, tho I would have liked if there was a melody in between the dubstep, which was pretty much all of it :D

TIMarbury responds:

yea it was just dubstep. the full version has breaks but it is filled with joke samples and funny crap that i cut out for the ng version. i was trying to get a good melody for the break but it wasn't working out for w.e reason, so i just modulated the basses up a lot more to keep it dynamic. Thanks for the review

truthfully, I like this, but it could be better!

I love your music I really do. One of the reasons is because you have a different style when you do ambient and dubstep then when you do trance/tecno. So it's been nice having a fresh new song and a fresh new surprise everytime I listen to one of your songs :D

For this song tho. I would have to say I didn't enjoy it as much as I do tthe rest of your songs, I just thought you should have had the pieno shift to lower keys on a grand piano when the bass kicked in with the sound effects you were using. I just thought some of the different sounds overpowered the others and made it so you could relaly only hear half of the song.

if you understand me, it's late rate now and I tend to become stupid at night. And I don't know how stupid this comment sounds :(.

but good job I still enjoyed the song, and keep up the good work!

Or4nges responds:

I completely understand. This track is a little.. Messy lol. It was inspired alot by C418, which probably explains everything if you know who he is :P

But yeah, I'd never done anything like this before, and honestly haven't done anything like it since. It's really unique in it's own right. I'm thinking about coming back and fixing all my problems with it one day, but i've got alot of stuff planned already.

If I recall though, I think the reason the piano was so high had something to do with the EQ. Was too soft and muddy in the mid-frequencies, so I kept it up the scale a bit.

Thanks so much for the input! Even on old songs, it's sometimes hard for me to tell what I did right, and what I did not so right.

god hurry up and finish this omg!

I absolutaly love your trance/tecno it's just so incredible

Or4nges responds:

trying! It's first on my "to do list"

you put way to much emphasize on on the beats

just saying now'a'days it's the wobble that carries the songs most of the time and not a bunch of sound effects and beats! as for the rest of the song, I enjoyed it. But not to the point where I loved it

kordelp responds:

Understandable. Thanks for the review. I did kinda avoid wobbles this go round to somewhat preserve the samples I used (and to see if I could do it). No sweat that you didn't love it. Glad you enjoyed it at least and told me -why- you didn't love it. Seriously, lol.

a incredibly awesome sounding song!

and you had in your description for us to tell you what to improve on. Well I don't know if anyone else thinks this might be good but, if you added the sound effects for a bunch of bells throughout the song I think it would sound even better, like church bells to smaller bells!

Qelaion responds:

That's a good idea! I'll get on it as soon as I'm back from my trip.

is that scarface?

as for the remix I thought it was pretty awesome, but that little solo or whatever you would call it at 2:17 was a little weird sounding, but after the second time listening to it you get used to it I guess. and for the rest of the remix. it was epic, I have always wanted a darker version (if you could call it that) of xKore_Eden!

so good job and keep up the good work!

TheRealSam responds:

I guess you're refering to the "breakdown" part. I wanted to add a very powerful and aggressive part at some point in the song, had a couple of nasty riffs I wanted to put, but didn't know how to make it come naturally. This is the best I could come up with, hope it isn't too weird :/
And yes, this is Tony Montana ahahah
Thanks a lot for the review man!

were you aware of the game morwind?

no seriously did you know that you are using the same tune pretty much only the bridge notes are missing between it all?

NikolaosTheDark responds:

I am aware of the game, but I wasn't aware of the soundtrack. I swear, I didn't intend to plagiarize or duplicate its style in any form or fashion. If I'd known about Morwind's music, I would've dropped the project before it picked up steam.

the darkness is both creation and destruction!

vary well done it has that calm feel to it like in the spore creature creator!

Insanctuary responds:

Darkness is where true power lies under. Humans can never obtain such power if they fear their own darkness. I like this concept. ^^ Thankyou for the 10.
